Once upon a time, I was working at a brand communication agency and I was constantly thinking about how I could make a difference in society. One day, I had the opportunity to visit a small village, and as I walked around, I noticed something that caught my attention. The local wooden toy artisans struggled to make ends meet and were at risk of losing their jobs. It struck me that these skilled craftsmen were not getting the recognition they deserved, nor were they able to survive in today’s world.
That’s when a thought came to my mind. What if we could help these artisans and their wooden toys reach a larger audience in modern cities? What if we could showcase the beauty and uniqueness of their handmade creations, while also promoting sustainability and responsibility towards the environment?
And so, the idea for Timber Tools was born. Our goal was to create a brand that would bring together the best of traditional wooden toy craftsmanship and modern design sensibilities. We wanted to offer people a way to connect with nature, while also appreciating the artistry and creativity that goes into each toy.
We worked hard to create a line of wooden toys that were not only beautiful, but also environmentally friendly and sustainable. We wanted to make sure that our toys would stand the test of time, and that they would inspire children to use their imagination and creativity.
As we started to grow our business, we made a conscious effort to work closely with the local artisans and empower them to continue making wooden toys. We wanted to create a platform for them to showcase their talents and preserve the legacy of traditional craftsmanship.
Today, Timber Tools is a brand that stands for sustainability, creativity, and responsibility. We believe that by promoting these values, we can positively impact the world and inspire a new generation to connect with nature and appreciate the beauty of handmade wooden toys.
